| Description : | Could be a shawl but it is rectangular in shape. Could be a covering for a piano, table etc. Similar to a seersucker - strips of 1.5" silk crepe, then 2 wide strips ruffled, silk crepe; then 4 narrow strips. hem is done by a running stitch. Fringe is made up of 8 (silk) strands, crocheting floss (has a twist) hand applied. |
