| Description : | Sheet music titled: 'O Canada! Beloved Country.' Seven pages in total including the front and back cover. The cover page has a red leaf border surrounding the title 'O Canada!' and the names of the linguist (The Hon. Judge Routhier) and composer (C. Lavallee). The title is in blue ink. There is a flower pattern on the vertical border and the text is in blue ink as well. Red ink in addition to the border is used for 'Beloved Country'. Interior pages contain the musical score all printed in black ink.;" Partition de «O Canada! Beloved Country» de sept pages, couverture avant et arrière comprises. Une bordure de feuilles rouges entoure le titre «O Canada!» et les noms du linguiste (juge Routhier) et du compositeur (C. Lavallée), imprimés à l'encre bleue, comme l'est d'ailleurs le texte. La marge verticale comporte un motif de fleurs. Comme dans la bordure, l'encre rouge a servi pour les mots «Beloved Country». La partition à l'intérieur est entièrement écrite à l'encre noire. |

Barbara Larson is the daughter of Annie Harris (1882-1986) and Beverly Sayers (1882-1976) and granddaughter of Arthur (1843-1932) and Mary (1859-1954) Harris. Barbara was born January 27, 1920 and was the youngest of three children. Barbara and her siblings, Geoffrey Sayers (1907-1997) and Dora Sayers Caro (1915-2004) donated Benares to the Ontario Heritage Foundation in 1969 after inheriting it from their aunt, Naomi Harris (1883-1968). Many of the items donated by Barbara originally belonged to her mother or Aunt Naomi and came from Benares. Barbara lived in a log cabin originally given to her by her grandparents at 1723 Birchwood Drive. She still maintains a close tie with Benares and is now living in Kelowna, British Columbia, with her daughter.";" Les articles sont un don de Barbara Sayers Larson. Barbara habitait une maison en rondins que ses parents avaient reçu de ses grands-parents. La résidence se trouve au 1723 Birchwood Drive. Barbara maintient un lien avec Benares et habite aujourd'hui avec sa fille à Kelowna, Colombie-Britannique. |
