Description : | A slim pair of ivory or bone glove stretchers with a spring mechanism in the centre, allowing the 'prongs' to open and stretch the fingertips of leather gloves. |
Fonctions : | An important part of a Victorian lady's toilette, a glove stretcher slips into the leather fingertips of a lady's glove, stretching the leather and maintaining its shape. Leather has a tendency to warp over time, and a glove stretcher helps to maintain the glove's shape. |
