Fonctions : | Photograph taken at the Fo Guang Shan Temple of Toronto's celebration of Ceremony for Buddha's Birthday and Vegetarian Food fair that occurred on May 27th 2001.;;The Buddhist temple is part of the Mahayana monastic order and the Canadian branch of Fo Guang Shan of Taiwan. It was founded by Venerable Master Hsing Yun in 1967.;Fo Guang Shan Temple of Toronto is part of the Buddha's Light International Association Toronto Chapter and is located at 6525 Millcreek Drive in Mississauga. It opened up ca. 1994. The temple also houses library, cultural museum, bookstore, and conference room and tea house. |
