Description : A typed letter on "Government House" letterhead, addressed to Mary Fix from J. F. Delaute. It's dated 17 April 1958. It states: the film has been received by Her Majesty, who wishes to convey her "grateful thanks for the kind and loyal greetings accompanying this gift of a film which her Majesty was graciously pleased to accept." It's signed with black ink by J. F. Delaute, Secretary to the Governor-General (Administrative).
Fonctions : The film "The Cinderella Township" (1957) was produced by Ashley & Crippen Studio of Toronto as "a continuing campaign to attract new industry within" the township's borders. It was directed by Dan Gibson, scripted by Ken Armstrong, a resident of the Township for many years, and Joel Aldred, well-known commentator, did the narration.
