Description :	A gift enclosure card made from heavy white paper. The lower and proper right edges are ragged, as it was taken from a notebook. There are pin holes indicating the card was fastened to the mats with a straight pin. In black, handwritten on the card, reads: "To dear Aunt Nan, from Annie and Naomi, Wishing her many happy returns of the day.
Fonctions :	This note goes with the table mats given from Annie and Naomi Harris to their _Aunt Nan_, their great-aunt Anna Cordelia Magrath. Anna Cordelia Magrath, or 'Aunt Nan' (1819-1895) was the sister of William Melchior Magrath and aunt to Mary, Marion and Isabel Magrath. Anna raised the three girls after Christiana Sutherland (1831-1860) passed away in December 1860. Christiana died from complications of child birth shortly after her third daughter, Isabel, was born. Anna was said to have raised the three girls as her own. She never married and lived on the Erindale Estate, either in Erindale or the Magrath Cottage, for over sixty years.
