Description : A black and white photograph with white borders all around. Photograph is mounted on a piece of cardboard to resemble a postcard. Photograph of five girls and one boy standing in a line at an unidentified place. The children are believed to be from Mary Jarvis Skynner's family. The back is has space for writing on the postcards as well as a stamp in the corner.
Fonctions : Photograph identfied as 'Mrs. Harry Skynner family'. These are most likely the grandchildren of Commander John Skynner and the children of Henry 'Harry' Skynner and Mary Merigold Jarvis. The boy in the middle was identifed by the donor as Willie Skynner who was known as 'Uncle Willie' to the Harris family of Benares. Harry and Mary had the following children: Francis 'Frank' Louis (1852), Eleanor Isabella (1854), Emily Mary (1856), Henry 'Harry' John (1858) and William Jarvis (1861).
