Ray hated school "with a passion" and recalls counting cars with friend, Lloyd Weeks of Lakeview. Ray quit school and moved to Streetsville to 31 Alphonse Crescent where he lived for six years. He married and worked for Cooksville Dodge and Desoto owned by Bill Braithwaite (son of fire chief). He later went into sales working for a Dominion Store in Applewood Acres, Dare Food, Liquid Air and Penner Trucks before retiring in 1996. He decided to move to Union in 2006 as Mississauga was getting too congested for him. |
