The other is an article by Mike Funston about $44,000 of repairs being done at the Adamson Estate. There are also three advertisements on the page.
Fonctions : This clipping was donated by Ray Alcott. John Ray Alcott was born April 27, 1939. He grew up in Mississauga attending Cooksville Public School and T.L. Kennedy High School. Ray hated school "with a passion" and recalls counting cars with friend, Lloyd Weeks of Lakeview. Ray quit school and moved to Streetsville to 31 Alphonse Crescent where he lived for six years. He married and worked for Cooksville Dodge and Desoto owned by Bill Braithwaite (son of fire chief). He later went into sales working for a Dominion Store in Applewood Acres, Dare Food, Liquid Air and Penner Trucks before retiring in 1996. He decided to move to Union in 2006 as Mississauga was getting too congested for him.
