Description : A pair of flat crescent moon-shaped earrings of metal (brass?) with decorative piercing and scrollwork. The middle and ends of the crescents are decorated with turquoise blue beads attached by means of metal wire. The means of attaching these adornments to the ears are missing.
Fonctions : Earring in the form of Art Deco Style. Art deco is a style of visual art design that appeared first in France after world war 1. It flourished internationally in the 1930s and 1940s before its popularity waned after World War 2. It is a style of craft that combines traditional craft motifs with Machine Age imagery and materials. The design usually has rich colors, geometric shapes and lavish ornamentation.
