Description : A typed letter on "The Lieutenant Governor" letterhead, addressed to Mary Fix from the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario. It's dated 23 December 1957. It states "Her Majesty will be pleased to accept the film offered by the Reeve" and instructs the Reeve to send the film to the "Secretary to the Governor General (Administrative), Government House, Ottawa." The letter is signed by the Lieutenant Governor in black ink. His signature is illegible.
Fonctions : The film "The Cinderella Township" (1957) was produced by Ashley & Crippen Studio of Toronto as "a continuing campaign to attract new industry within" the township's borders. It was directed by Dan Gibson, scripted by Ken Armstrong, a resident of the Township for many years, and Joel Aldred, well-known commentator, did the narration.
