Description :	A black and white photograph of George W. Gordon with his 4 children. Mr. Gordon is standing in the centre and is wearing a dark coloured three piece suit and holding a cigarette in his hand. Standing from left to right beside him are the following: Rhena, Margaret, Lillian and Douglas.
Fonctions :	Photographic most likely taken near the Gordon family home in Port Credit. George's other son, Francis, was living in Oregon at the time. George was a widow who retired from public service. ;;George Wingfield Gordon (1859-1953) was born in Scotland and would eventually settle in Erindale and then in Port Credit in 1871. He bought property on Mississauga Road North and married Mary Ann 'Minnie' Beamish of Erindale in 1894.
