| Description : | This is a metal doorknob and lock with a key. The door plate is rectangular in shape with a rounded top. There are three small round holes in the door plate, one at the top, and one on each side. The round doorknob is located in the upper section of the door plate. Under the doorknob is an oval lock with a bone-shaped keyhole. The key has a ring on one end with a piece of twine tied to it. |
| Commentaires : | This doorknob was used on a door in the work station known as the Brown House, and salvaged by the museum when the Brown House was torn down. The Brown House was used for carpentry, and for the general maintenance work and repairs that were required for upkeep of the various mission buildings. |
| Fonctions : | This doorknob provided a means of locking and opening a door. The three holes around the edge of the door plate allowed the door plate to be attached to a door. |
