Description : | The artifact is a thick, metal wire bent into the shape of a sock. There is a hook at the top of the form that doesn't reattach to the form itself. |
Commentaires : | This artifact would have been used to hang wool socks to dry either in open air or over a fire. The sock would be stretched over the form and then hooked onto a line overhead and left to dry. The forms would also help the sock to maintain its shape. |
