| Description : | The artifact is a metal hammer head with squared off sides. There are splinters of wood stuck in the bottom attachment of the hammer. There is one prong on one side of the hammer with a flattened end and two prongs on the other end with pointed ends. |
| Commentaires : | This shoe hammer would have been used to drive nails through the metal shoe and into the keratine of the horse's hooves. It may have also been used to remove those nails when the shoes needed to be replaced. |
