Cameras like this played an essential role during WWI and WWII when mapping and surveying terrain and reviewing trajectory of guns mounted on aircrafts for training purposes. World War II established aerial photographic reconnaissance as a vital weapon in the arsenal for the modern battlefield and set the course for the peacetime applications that now play a vital role in the national security of many nations. Used by the RCAF, this particular camera was shipped to the Commanding Officer of 6 Repair Depot, Trenton, ON, RCAF. Body Camera: 14A/720 A.M.
