Commentaires : This German Button Box Accordion was brought home after WWI by Avaird I. Tower, known as Ted Tower of Bathurst, NB.  Ted was a watchmaker by trade and had a collection of unusual items.  Upon his return from the war, he started Tower Jewellers, established in 1920. His grand-daughter donated this item and she remembers that it was displayed in her maternal grandfather's home next to an Ostrich Egg, which had been drained and properly cured for display. It was always clear to her that her grandfather's collectibles were to be seen but not touched.
Fonctions : This German Button Box Accordion is dated circa 1900 and brought home after WWI. It was a display item in the collection of Mr Avaird I. Tower. He did not play it but displayed it as a keepsake.
