Description : | This is a tin pail with a gold coloured finish that is well worn. It has a wire handle. Gold coloured decals in the shape of a wreath (red and yellow) are on the front and back of the pail. |
Commentaires : | Gray's Candies was owned by George Gray, owner of Gray's Restaurant of King Avenue, Bathurst, New Brunswick. Initially the candy was made at the back of the restaurant. Mr. Gray had a barrel at the rear of the building for broken barley toys and other misshapen candy where local children could help themselves to a free treat! The candy making business later moved to Salmon Beach, N.B. |
