Description : | This is a Black and White Picture of a peace celebration in Bathurst, New Brunswick on November 12, 1918. Decorated cars, open trucks and wagons are shown crossing the Village Bridge on their way to West Bathurst. Note in the distance, the steeple of the Holy Family Church. This was the white wooden church that was demolished in 1960. The picture is mounted on a wood plaque; the edges are bevelled and painted black.. |
Commentaires : | This picture was taken on November 12, 1918 showing the Peace Celebration in Bathurst, New Brunswick for the end of WWI. The parade of decorated cars, open trucks and wagons are crossing Bathurst Village Bridge heading toward West Bathurst. |
