Description : Pacific Mail, Steamship Company's Steamship Trip details printed on front in black ink. All preprinted text and image of ship on front of bill are printed in red ink. Bill filled out inside (menu choices) in blue ink.
Commentaires : Thought to have been used by Capt. Thomas Reese Anderson for his voyage to Japan, likely the same trip on which he acquired the painting of Jane Bulmer Anderson displayed in the Boultenhouse Heritage Centre in the Anderson Octagonal House.
Fonctions : Used as a ticket/ record of a voyage on a steamship. Inside, the traveller has marked his menu choices for dining during the trip.
