These colors run horizontally across the body of the boat. The top edge of the dory has a trim of green and the interior of the dory is painted entirely yellow. The dory has two oar locks on either side of the boat located approximately in the centre of the boat. Two paddles lay on the floor of the boat and a white throw line is hanging out of the side of the boat near the bow. There are four seats located vertically in the boat.
Commentaires : This model of a Newfoundland Row Dory is patterned after the dories which were built by Stephen Grandy and his 3 sons at Grand Bank, NL. It has been said that the Grandy's factory built approximately 3000 dories to meet the needs of the Banks fishermen and shore fishermen. Their dories also served as life boats on coastal schooners and foreign-going vessels. Scale of the replica is 1 5/8" to 1'.
