Description : | The photograph is a black and white image of the destruction caused by the 1929 tidal wave at Taylor's Bay. There are a number of buildings that have been damaged by the tidal wave. The building located to the far right is badly damaged and difficult to determine what is once was. The structure has fallen almost completely over and a large pile of wood planks remains at the base. A home located next to the building on the right is a two storey structure that is leaning heavily to one side. Another two storey building is located behind the other two buildings but it is not clearly visible so it is hard to determine the damage that has occured to it. |
Commentaires : | The picture shows the community of Taylor's Bay after the passing of the 1929 Tidal Wave Disaster. |
