| Description : | A circular tin and lid of stove polish. A- is the bottom of the tin. Gold coloured with a black design. Written is 'E. JAMES AND SONS, PLYMOUTH INVENTORS & SOLE MAKERS' and 'THE ORIGINAL AND ONLY GENUINE GOLD MEDAL 1877'. B- is the lid Gold and black design on sides and top of lid is red with black and gold print 'JAMES 'DOME' BLACK LEAD' is written and 'GIVES AN INSTANT AND LASTING POLISH TO STOVES, GRATES &C WITHOUT LABOUR'. C-P is the product. Cylindrical silver coloured tin with a domed top and wrapped in a yellow paper label. Written in black on label is 'BLACK LEAD' and 'JAMES DOME, GOLD MEDAL' aong with directions. Signs of wear and rust. Ph3 2008 |
