| Description : | Box containing dye cakes. A- is a rectangular cardboard box with a hinged lid. Wrapped in yellow paper with red and black print on top which reads ':MAYPOLE SOAP FOR HOME DYEING' and 'Washes and dyes, Clean and Quick, Will Dye to Any Shade But Won't Wash Out or Fade' with drawings of flowers and a pair of hands. Written in black along front is 'MAYPOLE SOAP CREAM'. Interior lid has a white paper label with drawings of twenty bow ties in different colours with the colour listed beneath. At top of label 'MAYPOLE SOAP FOR HOME DYEING' is written. B -M are the packages of dye. Dye cake is wrapped in white paper. Front of paper has a colour drawing of people dancing around a maypole with ' MAYPOLE SOAP, DYES ANY COLOUR' written beneath along with 'SEE INSTRUCTIONS INSIDE'. Along two sides written in red is 'MAYPOLE SOAP DYES ANY COLOUR' and on the bottom 'MAYPOLE SOAP WILL NOT WASH OUT OR FADE' is written in red. Each package is of a different colour of dye. PH3 2008 |
