| Description : | An oak dining table. Artifact 983.299.1 a is a base segment of the Artifact. It has a length of 79.6cm, a width 79.6cm, anda height of 71.1cm. It consists of four (4) lathe turned legs which in turn are attached to the undersurface of a square frame. Artifact 983.299.9 b is the top of the table. It is 95.5cm long by 90.3cm wide by 6.0cm thick. The top consists of four (4) rectangular shaped pieces of wood which in turn surround two (2) central segments. there is a rectangular piece of wood between these two segments. Artifact 983.2299.9 c is a leaf extension of r the table. It is 78.5cm long by 90.7cm wide by 7.1cm thick. The leaf consists of two (2) rectangular sshaped components (each of which is tapered at one end) which are attached to the back of a third rectangular shaped component. The lattermost consists of four (4) rectangular segments which in turn surround a central area. Artifact 983.299.9 d is exactly the same as artifact 983.299.9 c. |
