| Description : | A wooden and metal bed spring. The artifact consists of a wooden frame upon the top of which is a wire 'sheet'. The wooden boards are '2 x 4's' with the top and bottom ones being laid flat while the side components are on their respective edges. The end ofeach of the side segments are notched in order that the end pieces can be bolted on. The metal 'sheet' has been attache through the use of a metal shrip placed at each end. For reinforcement ther are four (4) vertical metal straps, and one horizontal metal strap.PH1 2006, PH2 2007 |
