| Description : | A rectangular, black and white engraving. The artifact depicts an young baby who is asleep in a crib. A small dog is seated beside the crib, and a pair of flowers with leaves can be seen on the floor beside the crib. The crib itself displays elaborate carving on its 'foot' end, and this includes three dimensional carvings, a coat of arms, and the letters 'IHS'. At the top of the engraving, 'London, Henry Graves & Co. Dec. 1st 1892. Copyright.' appears in black script lettering. The engraving has been affixed to a white background, and the two in turn have been placed in a frame. . PH1 2006 Ph2 2007 |
