| Description : | A large, rectangular, wall mirror. The artifact consists of a rectangular piece of mirrored glass, the edges of which have been bevelled. Upon the front of the glass have been painted numerous multi-coloured flowers and leaves, and the design of a brown bird flying towards the flowers. Beneath the plants a 'U'-shaped vase with a hourglass-shaped, vertical stem appears. This has been etched from behind the glass. The glass itself has been placed in a wooden frame. The edge of this frame is black, while moving inwards there appear a dark green segment, raised abstract designs which have been painted gold, a fabric covered segment, and a gold (painted) segment. |
