| Description : | A dark brown, wood side chair. The artifact has four (4) circular, lathe-turned legs which slant inward as they rise to the undersurface of the chair's seat. Extending from front to back are two (2) horizontal circular, lathe-turned supports, and these in turn have been connected to each other by a third circular lathe-turned support. The seat segment of the artifact is circular in shape and displays a shallow groove around its edge. Rising on a slight angle from the back of the seat are a total of six (6) circular supports, the end two of which display lathe-turned designs. At the top of these supports and connecting all of them is a roughlyrectangular segment that displays a rounded protrusion on each end. Ph1 2006, PH2 2007 |
