Description :	This shallow circular steel tin with gold and black print. Written around the outer sides are the dates, '1869', '1872', '1877'. Also printed are the words 'GOLD MEDAL 1877' AND ' E. JAMES & SONS, PLYMOUTH INVENTORS & SOLD MAKERS.' Pressed into the center of the bottom side is 'BARCLAY & FRY LTD. LONDON ', 'MAKERS'. Within the tin are fourteen leads all partially wrapped in yellow paper and labeled ' JAMES DOME', 'BLACK LEAD'. These leads are covered with a loose piece of tissue. This circular slip-on lid has black, gold, and red print. It reads, 'JAMES' 'DOME' BLACK LEAD', 'Gives an instant and lasting polish to stoves grates & without labour!' Also displayed is the 'TRADE MARK' which is a golden dome shaped sy`mbol. Written around the outer edge is 'GOLD & SILVER MEDALS & DIPLOMAS AT INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITIONS FOR EXCELLENCE OF QUALITY & CLEANLINESS IN USE.' PH1 2006 Ph2 2007
