| Description : | Small, clear glass, ball-neck, panel bottle with a club-sauce-type lip, and one cork stopper. Mold seams rise vertically from a cup mold seam around bottom to almost top of lip. There are sunken panels on front, back, and both sides. The front panel has a label on it which is a light tan colour with black printing. Printing states: 'HIRST'S PAIN EXTERMINATOR IS MY NAME'. 'HIRST REMEDY CO., Hamilton, Canada', 'No.230. THE PROPRIETARY OR PATENT MEDICINE ACT'. Embossed on the bottom is 'HIRSTS' . Bottle is approx. 90% full of a brandy coloured liquid. |
