| Description : | A manufactured men's cotton plaid shirt with beige cloth label at base of neck with a side view of a male lion with right frontleg raised in black thread over 'TRADE MARK ESTD. 1832' and circled by 'WELCH, MARGETSON & CO. LTD. LONDON' with 'MADE IN GREAT BRITIAN' below all in red thread. Outer edge of label has a frame of black thread. On inside right of collar 'GB24' and '16 35' at centre back both in black ink. Shirt has small stand up collar with collar button at two button hole collar front one fly button hole centre back collar, five button front opening and long sleeves with french cuffs. Shirt has taylored facing to front at front opening left side and self faced on right side. The plaid is of alternating verticle pin stripes of green and khaki and a slightly wider horizontal grey stripe. All very close together making a small busy plaid. A very pale brown mottled stain on right centre front. PH12006 PH2 2007 |
