| Description : | Clear glass cylindrical jar (A) with embossed glass lid (B) and screw top closure mechanism (C). Jar has bright orange crystalized staining at the bottom. Lid is embossed with 'WHITALL. TATUM & Co. PHILADELPHIA NEW YORK PAT, JUNE 11TH 1895' on the top, the underside of the lid has two protrusions with holes in them designed for suspending something inside the jar. Screwtop seal hooks under lip of jar and tightens to hold lid in place. Some embossing on screw is illegible. Ph2 2007 |
