Description : A rectangularly shaped postcard which is somewhat sepia toned in colour. On the front of the artifact is a representation of a small community of wooden buildings which includes a church. The community is situated on the edge of a body of water and densely forested hills can be seen in the background. On the front of the postcard, 'Indian Mission Village near Douglas Lodge' appears in black lettering. On the back of the artifact, 'PUBLISHED BY THE COWEN, SUTTON CO. LTD., VANCOUVER, B.C.', 'POSTCARD', 'CORRESPONDENCE', and 'ADDRESS' all appear in black print lettering. In addition, 'Prior to 1934 (postcard bought 1934 by H. G. McWilliams)' appears in balck hand written pencil. Length: 13.6 cm. Width: 8.6 cm.
