| Description : | One woman and three men posing on a fallen tree that spans a stream. The woman, Emma, is squatting, George Turner is sitting with a pipe in his hand, Frank Kibbee is standing on the left with a paddle, and Wong Yen Len is standing on the right. Beneath the fallen tree can be seen two boats which are floating on the stream. In the background can be seen heavy forest, while in the foreground is a dirt bank. The photograph is one of four which has been mounted on one side of a 32.4cm wide by 27.4cm high black cardboard backing. On the reverse of the backing are four additional photographs. All of the photographs are surrounded by a border which consists of a white line and a white leaf pattern. A majority of the artifact has lifted from the backing and it has been severely ripped. |
