| Description : | A matched pair (set) of oval shaped framed black and white photographs. Artifact 991.261.1.1a is the first photograph. It is 7.8 cm. Long by 12.7 cm. Wide, by 0.1 cm. Thick. The front of the item exhibits a black and white head and shoulders image of a young woman who maybe Lottie Bowron. The individual is wearing a plaid headband and a high necked dress. Artifact 991.261.1.1b is a black painted oval wooden frame. It has a length of 18.8 cm., A width of 13.7 cm., A height of 1.4 cm. Affixed to the back of the frame is an oval shaped segment of brown paper, upon which there has been affixed a rectangular shaped black and gold paper label. Upon this manufacturer & advertisement information appears in gold coloured print lettering. The back of the frame also exhibits a pair of steel eye screws, and these are connected by means of a length of silver coloured wire. Artifact 961.261.1.2a-b is essentially exactly similar to the previous artifact. The only difference between the 2 items is that with the former the individual is shown of more of a smile.
