Description : Carved wooden model totem pole on a green rectangular base. An eagle with large outstretched wings is perched on the head of a woman. The wings are carved in one piece and are attached at the back of the pole with three small nails. The woman is painted almost all in black, with red and green accents on her face, chest, hands and knees. The palms of her hands are painted brown. There is an absence of paint in small areas which define the eyebrow, eyes, nose, ears and cheeks, as well as around the base of the neck, chest, back of the hands and the knees. The features are painted in yellow, green, red, and black. The legs end in an irregularly shaped red rectangle that is narrower in the front than in the back. The arms are each attached with one small nail.
