| Description : | Small model cradleboard. The base is wood and painted green. It is rectangular with the top slightly wider and scalloped. Sun shade consists of wooden hoop painted green, with a floral, frilled fabric sewn onto it. The bundle portion is leather fitted over a wooden frame; straight sides with rounded bottom and open top. Edges are cut in a fine scalloped pattern. The centre is laced closed with a strip of leather; yellow and blue floral pattern embroidered on the front. Two leather straps stick out through the back of the board to which a blue and white braid of yarn is tied at each end. |
