| Description : | Circular-shaped basket and lid, light brown in colour with green, blue and red accents. The basket has a braid-style weave around the top, which leads to a larger piece of wood. The weave works its way down and shows a pattern of a blue canoe with two red passengers, a bird with a blue body and red head. This patter is repeated once more along the circumference of the basket. Around the base of the basket there are two rows of green weave. The base is solid light brown with a square in the centre using a larger weaving technique. The lid is a circular-shaped lid with a rim that runs on the outside of the main basket. The rim is light brown with two rows of green weaving. The top of the lid has four birds with blue bodies and red heads. In the centre of the lid there is a green sun-shaped weave. |
