| Description : | Carved wooden model totem pole on a rectangular base. Depicts an eagle with outstretched wings perched on the bent tail of a small whale. The eagle's tail hangs down behind the whale. There is a space between the eagle's two legs and between its legs and tail. The whale's tail has a face painted on it. The whale's head rests on a platform with the face looking forward. The eagle's wings were carved in one piece and attached to the back with one small nail. It is varnished and the features are painted on with yellow, green, red and black paint. Two small nails hold the pole to the base. |
