Description : | Fully beaded down front, from shoulder to waist, with a light blue background with geometrical insets. From top insets consist of: a diagonal stepped line of a row of green, a row of red and a row of dark blue, next a diagonal line with a row of dark blue, a row of light red, a row of silver metallic and a row of dark blue, next a diagonal line, half-way across only, with a row of green and a row of red, in centre of main body section are four large red squares, set in the form of a cross, with a gold metallic diamond inside squares which have a small green cross with a dark blue centre in their middle, four sets of arrow heads around cross, three are dark blue and one is dark blue with a light red inset, and at bottom is a row of arrow points, seven in all, which are all connected with a dark blue line across their bottoms, beadwork is done with seed and metallic beads, in overlay stitch, onto heavy canvas, with cotton thread, back section is soft smoked buckskin. Small fringe down front edges only. To tassels attached to back at neck consist of four brass beads and a piece of weasel fur. |
