| Description : | Two front panels are fully beaded in a light blue background with six identical star-like designs set in. Stars have dark blue points, are eight pointed, have a white square in centre with a red trimmed silver diamond set in the white. Diamond has a red cross with a yellow dot in centre, running through it. Band of white, approx 0.5 cm wide, with red dots set in, down front edges. Beadwork is done with seed and metallic (silver) beads, in overlay stitch, onto heavy buckskin, with cotton thread. Front panels are lined with grey cotton cloth. Back piece is soft unsmoked buckskin. Buckskin fringe across top of shoulders, down back edge of beaded panels and across shoulder blades. Thin buckskin thongs added to front edges of front panels. Fluted piece of smoked buckskin across back of neck. |
