| Description : | Fully beaded on front panel and pointed flap with a light blue background into which is set a orange "X" at either side of flap point, a large uneven "X" in centre. Below flap point, with two legs shorter than the other two, formed from dark blue and orange squares joined together, below this is an inverted "full of points" design with a dark blue border and orange interiors in the three points. Flap has a three legged, small orange "full of points" design, in centre top. Yellow border, approx 1.5 cm wide, down sides and across bottom has dark blue triangles set in. Carrying handle with a cotton cloth core wrapped with light blue and orange beads is fastened down sides of bag. Loop is approx 142 cm in length, soft, lightly smoked buckskin fringe approx 20 cm long, along bottom of bag. Beadwork is done with seed beads, in overlay stitch, onto commercial leather, with cotton thread. Back piece is hard smoked buckskin. |
