| Description : | Buckskin shirt with long fringes extending the length of the sleeves and surrounding beaded triangular flap at front and back. Hide strip at bottom point of triangle on both front and back sides with holes cut along it, serrated edges and fringed at bottom. Sleeve cuffs are cut to form four oval extensions with a hole at the centre of each and serrated edges. Beaded panels over shoulders and on sleeve edges are of red, light blue and dark blue opaque glass seed beads on a white background. Pattern is of two red squares at ends of panels outlined in dark blue. Central motif of nine light blue and dark blue squares on a red background with light and dark blue striped tall triangles on either side. Central and back triangular flap has a trident-like image beaded in blue and red at centre with dark blue, gold and red beaded stripes outlining the edge. Hide ties around neck and either side of body of shirt, small twin holes along sides of front for fastening ties. |
