| Description : | Candle snuffer, silver plated ?; shaped like scissors with high sided semi-circular holder perpendicular to one leg; the other leg is shorter, ends in a semi-circular plate which fits inside the other addition; semi-circles have undulating edges; a narrow knob protrudes from exterior of each finger grip and the tip of longest leg; longest leg ends in teardrop shaped tip; arms bordered with lines of beading; narrow band of interlocking X's border exterior of holder; embossed rows of linked waves on finger grips; at pivot point is a domed circle on the shorter arm and a flat circle on the longer one. |
