| Description : | Silk dress with v-neck, short sleeves, flared skirt; wide netted lace edging: in continuous band from centre back right round front and back to centre back forms v in back, curve under front bust line; down centre front panel and across lower end of free hanging back panel; bias-cut tucked waistband has 3 rows of 3 imitation pearl buttons in back; in front continues upward as bodice accent and concealment of join in lace panel, centred by 2 silk roses; neckline outlined by narrow band of grey and white glass beads; front and back panels end in fringe; 2 rows of the same fringe around the short sleeves; bodice lined with cotton muslin; hook and eye closure at back; cream fabric, grey and white beads; netted lace, fabric roses, beading, fringes, imitation pearl buttons. |
