A: constructed of cast iron, with brass floral accents; copper plating on central shaft, ceiling mount, and light fixtures; bronze plating on parts of arms; three arms branch from a central shaft and each supports a light fixture; origianlly an oil light fixture ?, but has been converted to electric; three springs run from ceiling fixture to the bottom fixture to provide additional support; decoration consists of various patterns and motifs including fan, bead, dart, fleur-de-lis, cross, column, laurel, scroll, floral, leaf; parts of the cast surface have a hammered appearance; copper and bronze plating on various parts; glass globes B-D: white; spherical; circular hole in each end of each globe; bottom hole has a raised lip; floral and leaf motifs are hand painted, pattern repeated three times; garland-like with a bow at top of each garland |
