| Description : | Jug has a white body and is moulded in fairly high relief. Majolica glazes. Four bands of blue rimmed with yellow, containing the verse, are separated by oval greenish-blue shapes set in centre of stylized brown diamond shapes. Handle is decorated with a sheaf of wheat. Pewter cover is hinged to earthenware body. Design is based on a German stoneware tankard. |
