| Description : | A silver lapel pin with three red maple leaves on a silver shield surmounted by the imperial crown, and blue banner at bottom, "General Service". Three maple leaves from single branch at centre of plain, smooth silver shield. Crown surmounting shield of silver with red enamel behind. Motto banner of blue follows shape of bottom of shield. Stud spike soldered to centre of back, fastens with large flat circular button with a ring of teeth on the inside, button screws over stud spike. Stamped into back "128402" moulded on back below spike "penalty for misuse 500 dollars or six months imprisonment". |
