| Description : | Teapot shaped tea ball attached to ring chain which in turn, hooks on to drip stand. Eight sided, handled, spouted, perforated tea container,(teapot shaped , with hinged lid which can be clasped closed. Lid is peaked where chain attached itself. Container was formed then soldered together."Sterling" and hallmark seen on lid rim. Stand consists of pan which is gold plated inside only. Pan attaches to upright column from which horizontal hook extends. Stamped on pan base "Sterling" followed by hallmark resembling "WC" then "WXY...Cox...set". |
