In the background, to the right, is two or three people and two other automobiles. The road in the foreground is surrounded by a rich vegetation of willows and in the background, trees. On the back of the photo is a hand printing in black ink. 'WASHOUT BOWRON LK. ROAD' and a printed number in blue ink '511'.h white, red, white stripes along either side to the blue field. Affixed to the ribbon is a pin. The paper box is made of paper, bright red in colour, with printing saying 'Coronation Medal' and a modern label is fastened to the box's lid, saying 'J H SCARLETT 1755 LULIE ST. VICTORIA B.C.' The box has been mended with tape and has a few cracks
